Re: Never bought new before - trade-in advice
Sell it privately if you are in no hurry, I traded my 2014 Qashqai for 2019 x-trail two months ago. After a lot of negotiating he finally agreed to give me £6500 for my car. Two months later i seen my old car for sale for just under 11k and it was sold in a week.

Re: Parking sensor volume almost too quite on max
The Sensors do work, and they do display in the driver's binnacle, and the sound is there but as I said it's so low that it's almost inaudible, so I will take it back to the dealers on Monday and let them fix it. thanks all My sister in law has a new 2019 qashqai and she noticed the exact same prob...

Re: Rear light cluster
It will be the full unit, dont worry about that part. Hell that's one expensive light, over the years I have replaced loads of lights on cars front and back and I think the most I have ever paid was around £35. Although I do have a good choice of car breakers near me.

Dont bother trying to take it off until you have the replacement light. That way you can check out the back of the replacement for any ex...

Re: Rear light cluster
It's a simple 5 minute job, hardest part is getting the replacement as cheap as you can, start with local scrap dealer, if that fails try searching Nissan qashqai breaking on the Bay and message a few to see what price the want. Or just buy one from search if you are in a hurry. Light removal https:...

Re: ULTRA THIN LED STRIP - WHITE/ORANGE
I have not looked, but couldn't you just tap into the original DTRL of the Qashqai, of course you would have to connect both ground (Black) and (White) DRL, to it and the one single Yellow wire to one of the wires on the indicator bulb.

Re: Auto folding mirrors kit
I fitted this today, it was the genuine Nissan folding kit that I used, as others have said there is no gray wire going to the door locks, however it does say on the instructions gray wire for Qashqai and purple wire for X-Trail, so I cut open the cable loom that went up to the door lock and in ther...

Re: LED Strip turn signals fitted
I did not connect the DRL, there are three wires. White Blue and Yellow. I just used the white and yellow wires to the indicator bulb and left the blue alone as I didnt want the DRL turned on.
