Re: Engine swap after 23k miles. 65 plate QQ

Not good. Nissan are really going down the pan.
Quite sad.

Test drive of Qashqai

Saw a 3 year old in a dealer at Hexham with 25k on the clock. Looked nice, plenty extras, reverse cam, sun roof etc. Looked around it, tyres would need replacing, battery looked, and salesman said it was the original. Had just been serviced by them a few days before. Drove nicely, but air con needed...

Exactly.

Re: Low power ( 1.5dci / 2012 J10 )

I would have thought the work done, which you say is recent from Nissan would be still under its warranty?
It dies sound to me like the turbo is not working, but unless it is seen it’s hard to judge.

You should certainly query the history of the air-conditioning since condenser failure seems a very common fault.

After reading many threads on here about reliability etc, I don't want to buy a car and then have problems.
Hence joining a forum to get other people's views/opinions, which may help me decide.

Thank you. We were in Hexham for the day when we came across the dealer there.
I'll have a look at Durhams website, see what they have in.

Re: euro5/6 emissions

I'm not sure about this, but when I was looking at a possible Yeti, their engines after late 2015 had to be Euro 6, and this adblue is now added to the engines.
The QQ I'm looking at is a 15 plate, and the salesman tells me it will be Euro 6. Tax is £30 a year.
