Re: Air Conditioning not very cold

It sounds like it is a problem with a split pipe. I had the same - last year, my aircon stopped blowing cold air. Took it to Pentagon, they wanted to charge me for re-gas. I contacted Nissan and complained that the car was little more than 1 year old and should not need a re-gas, how about they diag...

Re: USB port broken :-(

You can access the electrics from the back of the console, if you just need to rescue them from the abyss. Wow, Hound, thank you for the excellent diagram and information. I would have tried it myself, had I not already been to the garage. It turned out that the whole USB cable casing is falling to...

USB port broken :-(

Hi guys, A quick question before a trip to the dealer. The USB/Aux socket sitting in the compartment under the armrest broke - the fascia fell off and the cable/electrics underneath sank back into the abyss in the armrest, they can not be pulled back out from the opening. From what I can see, the el...

Re: Problems

Yes, definitely! Probably a good idea for the mods/admins to set up a voting section with all Nissan dealers listed - just a simple thumbs up or down vote facility would be a good start!

Re: Problems

Right, time for another rant / update but there will be a happy ending this time, promise! After that RAC visit and fix, resulting in the garage not bothering to even test drive the car to follow up, the car did not last long - only until that same evening after I collected it after the week spent a...

Re: Diesel particulate filter

Sparky 62, I know this from personal experience and lengthy arguments with the local dealer (Pentagon) and ultimately, Nissan directly. There is no warning light. The car will regenerate the filter when it is full, regardless of how you drive it at the time and in general. If you mainly do short col...

Re: Problems

Hi everyone, Just an update (I will try to make it quick) - - air conditioning fixed (tried, cooled, works); - steering squeak fixed (though steering very stiff now) - have not tried because it is not cold enough for it to squak!; - leather seat heating fixed (I was told that a few other Qashqais ha...

Re: Problems

Just an update to the start/stop and chassis control system faults. On Saturday, the forward emergency braking system also gave a fault, along with the blind spot monitoring system. On top of all that blinking and beeping, the engine management light came on and I had to call the RAC. When he ran th...

Re: Problems

Oops. Nevermind Monday, I hope it starts tomorrow morning. Better sign up for Uber! Is the start/stop fault or the chassis control fault that suggests a bettery problem? The start/stop fault I am pretty used to as I get from time to time and dealer yawns whenever I mention it. Wheneever they bother ...

Re: DPF is the reason I want to sell my car

Hello tumasgts, I am the member that duncho referred to, and my saga continues... Since my DPF was sorted with that software fix, I had to do another "oil service" at 16k miles. Did you ever get that "oil service due" warning on your dashboard, out of the blue, and ignore it? If ...
