If that is 2017 production it is J11b and the Media box is connect 3. As is mine and has not needed any firmware update to date. Nor has been issued. Check for the firmware version currently in the menu and let us know You are in a changeover year to facelift models...the media box might be Connect...

mine didn't. only ever got the noise in 2nd gear about 2000 rpm when pulling away. 2000rpm stationary is completely different to 2000rpm driving as it's all about engine load. Hello.
