Re: Newbie

You'll see regularly on A34, car trailers with loads of ex rental Channel Island cars; these have very low mileages and will not have driven at high speeds either. Some manufacturers seem to have a deal to supply fleet rental sector at very keen£'s to shift bulk and get their vehicles in the hands ...

Parking Sensors !!!

I must be one of the lucky ones. The front sensors on my QQ started to act on ther own accord and for no obvious reason. I initially thought it was a water ingress problem, but after some deduction it was definetly a fault. Booked it into the dealer and they had it for a day and performed a software...

Rear bumper protector

I have a B&Q tarpaulin which I unfold over the bumper to allow my dog to scramble in. It covers the entire boot floor and all of the bumper. It rolls up nicely too.

Front Parking Sensor

Mine went in today for the same problem. Service Manager said it was a well known problem, easily fixed with a software upgrade. Too early to know if the problem is sorted as it was an intermittent fault on my car. They also had a software upgrade for the radio. Something to do with the system not p...

Rear Parking Sensors

Similar problem with the front sensors on mine. Problem occurred after washing the vehicle, even after I'd dried the sensors. Also occurred for no obvious reason when the road conditions and the vehicle were dry.
It's booked in next week to be looked at.

Space for the dog

I too thought the boot would be bigger in the QQ than my previous Ford Focus & Bailey my 2 year old chocolate Labrador would have the benefit of a larger crate to lounge in. However the sloping of the back seat and the tailgate mean that there is less room for his existing crate and means I can ...

Where to buy a new 2014 Tekna 1.5dci from ??

My dealer informed me last week, after I had taken delivery, that the dealers were no longer heavily discounting the QQs as they were selling so well and it is now very difficult to get really good discounted deals. Don't know if this was just to make me feel good or not about how much I paid, but h...

How to activate safety cameras?

My safety camera detector is working and I haven't done anything since I took delivery, so either it was set up by the dealer in the pdi or set at the factory, but it is there. I know that's no real help to you but I'm sure if you play with the settings you will be able to get it working. This seems...

It's now in my garage

As of 1000 hrs today I am the very proud owner of a 1.5 dci Tekna in gunmetal. The vehicle was sat in the showroom when I arrived, just gleaming at me. Great handover by the garage and after parting with the money and my Ford Focus I was off. Only 4 miles on the clock as I drove away. It now has 55 ...
