Re: Adhesive pad on seatbelt buckle?
I just installed pieces of soft rubber foam on both sides of seat belt buckle. It’s way better than original felt like tape which is not as effective to prevent disturbing “knock noise” when seat buckle hit the seat or B pillar plastic cover while cornering.

Re: Nissan QQ J12 - CVT D-Step Logic Control Transmission
Hi I have a Nissan QASHQAI 2015 auto Iim in Melbourne Australia I'm just wondering if anybody else has had issues with their CTV transmission? And what did Nissan do about it? When I initially bought in the car into Nissan there was no problem other than the red engine light appearing. Apparently a...

Re: J11 Battery charging system problem
I can’t recall what I wrote earlier, when the sensor is disconnected, it disconnect “smart charging system” and battery is charged with 14.7V limit set on alternator. However it generates DTCs. Try to swap the battery to see if S/S fault will vanish (it may if internal battery resistance is too hogh...

Re: J11 Battery charging system problem
Sulfated cells on lead-acid battery will only decrease its capacity and if heavily sulfated, also increase its internal resistance which will cause harder starts. If I were you, I would ignore the battery indicator and drive the car as usual. As soon as you experience harder starts in cold mornings,...

Re: J11 Battery charging system problem
If the battery is sulfated, battery acid density indicator will no longer turn to green. Try to charge it with slow battery charger (max 5A current) and you will see. I doubr battery sensor is faulty. It generates DTCs when you disconnect the cable terminal on it.

Re: J11 Battery charging system problem
You must sort out red engine light first, and then play with enhancing battery charging circuit. disconnecting battery sensor will cause numerous errors (DTC) generated.

Re: J11 Battery charging system problem
They can reprogram IPDM, but it won’t help as the BMS logic is untouched.
