Evidence of accident damage?

Can you guy help me? Can you open the bonnet and look at the back of your headlights and also look at the rod that keeps the bonnet open? See if it has any markings or stickers on them. I started to query all of this when i noticed by bonnet did not align to the bumper on my 171 new model QQ. Screen...

Re: Bonnet not sitting flush to the grill

So, went to another Nissan dealer. They said that the bonnet stay (the metal bar you erect to keep the bonnet open) was a replacement part, the headlights were replacement parts! They suspect the car was in a collision and repaired!! So, it looks like a 2017 Qashqai (ex Hertz) was sold to me by a ma...

Re: Bonnet not sitting flush to the grill

Yep, I tried winding the bungs, no change. I don't think they are connected to anything to be honest (see attached).

Gosh, it's worrying to think that it's a manufacturing quality issue. Surely a bonnet is something Nissan has got used to fitting properly :)

Bonnet not sitting flush to the grill

Take a look at this guys ... one of these is my car - can you guess which one?

The bonnet does not lie flush with the grill. I've tried opening and closing it, still not aligned. Should I be worried that the car has a hidden history? Is this a normal manufacturing issue?

Re: Seats in the facelift model are not as comfy?!

So, maybe the seat bolsters are pushing their way into your thigh, making you sit in a narrower position. Added to this, the shoulder bolsters of these new seats are pushing your shoulders forward. All combined might make you feel uncomfortable. I don't know why sports-car-like bolsters are needed o...

Re: Noise on acceleration - normal?!

Reprogrammed the engine computer and presumably tightened the leak.

Re: farty noise on accelerating

So, I got this fixed eventually. Nissan said that there was some kind of oil leak and the engine management system decided to manage itself into making more of a vibration sound on acceleration!! They reprogrammed the ECU and its gone now (although the check engine light is still on, they say that h...

Re: Noise on acceleration - normal?!

Got this fixed. Apparently, there was some kind of oil leak and the engine was managing itself in such a way that the engine produced more vibration! All done under warranty.

Noise on acceleration - normal?!

Upon accelerating my 2017 QQ 1.2l petrol auto gives a flappy/flatulent drone.

Is this normal?!

It's really annoying.
