Re: 1.2 DIG-T Tuning Box .

Upping the HP could call for suspension and drive train upgrades as well...to be safe. Margins have to be maintained as regards the torque generated and speed acquired. On the other hand. The engine is mechanically designed for 160 and then a different ECU mapping is employed to meet green tax stuff...

Re: Tesla E-Truck

I have seen a couple of reports/tv showing proposed autonomous taxis recently. Driver still sitting in position with cupped hands under the steering wheel. Does anybody really think these things are going to turn up on the end of a smartphone hail...just like that? Plenty of in street decision analy...

Re: Hello, All!

Since you have a 2019 Rogue I assume you are covered by a 3 year warranty? In your car documents.

If you get a chance can you tell us what make of 12v Battery is installed. We've had severe battery problems in UK from production.

Re: Best Fault Code Reader

As an after note I suspect the Aldi device is the ELM chip (ELM327 IC series). Massively faked by China...of course. Various incarnations of it have caused problems ranging from DOA to connectivity problems. The link details the vehicle SAE/ISO DTC standards that are supposed to be covered? Some veh...

If your slave is extra mechanically inclined he maybe interested in this site...as linked below. Many technical Nissan Qashqai diagnosis/repair documents which may help...a bit? J11 is the car generic type which is likely yours. There is an earlier J10 here in UK. The J11 is of subtypes J11a and J11...

Re: Best Fault Code Reader

I have had 3 different makes ranging from £20 to £60 (ELM and OBDLink) and have solved one problem easily. The software gives a number of function indications like virtual speed/rpm clocks/dials etc as well as errors. I tend not to use ELM because of its large Fake legacy. Where emissions related fa...

Re: Passenger door lock won’t open from outside!

That sounds like a faulty door handle system which includes a bit of electronics to communicate with the car security system. Back on warranty I'd say.

Re: Hello, All!

Enterprise Rentals (from US) exists in UK and for quite some years. I have used them a few times. There are many Nissan Rogue videos on Youtube but not sure they get into the dirty bits....much. As Dave says the Rogue engine seems to be 2L with a CVT auto gearbox. I expect the rest of the car is com...

Re: Tyre recommendation

I don't think there is a one rule fits all on this topic although manufacturers advise new tread to rears....Continental does. Which once went with a recommendation to rotate them around so as to keep wear similar. The dynamics in any situation are fairly complex and ordinary drivers won't be able t...
