Battery, CVT and service questions
We have a 2018 J11 which overall has been great for 5 years. Just had to replace battery after 26 months. No warning, it just died while my wife was out shopping. First battery lasted 36 months and was replaced by dealer during full service. Full battery check was done by Nissan during regular servi...

Automatic clock issue

Any ideas why this could have happened and whether it could be a symptom of anything else? Battery is fine and hadn't been disconnected. Has been working fine for over a year. Th...

Re: All windows down overnight
Thanks Bob and Dave. Have looked through all that. However, unfortunately it seems that the reason will remain a mystery.

All windows down overnight
For the second time in a little over a year, we went out to our 2018 TI (Australia) and found all our windows were fully open. First time no harm, but this time per Murphy car was not in garage and it had rained overnight. We never put all the windows down. Seem to recall seeing a thread about this ...

Re: Emergency braking system fault
Got the FEB System Service Campaign Notification re software update a couple weeks ago but haven't done yet. Any comments from people who have had update, i.e. - improvement, no obvious improvement, worse? Have had some issues with false positives and unecessary application of emergency braking stra...

Re: Temperature Sensors
Not Nissan or Qashqai specific but found this by a bit of googling https://www.freeasestudyguides.com/ac-in-car-temperature-sensor.html I now assume that the display should be showing outside temp so sensor under bumper or somewhere like that. Reason I thought cabin temp was on display is that it al...

Temperature Sensors
Anyone know where the temperature sensor(s) are which display (presumably) cabin temperature? Are they the same sensors which are used to control heating and a/c cabin temperature? Thanks.

Re: Emergency braking problem
Might be useful for everyone to have more understanding from those who have experienced the problem about exactly how the car behaved and the timeframe. For instance, did anyone experience a situation where warning light and or buzzer didn't go off before emergency braking started? Also, I notice in...
