Re: Vibration/knocking sound
Mine started knocking from drivers side when on/off throttle at low speeds. Slow speed speed bumps also show same symptoms. Been to dealers and found the drivers side strut top bearing to have premature failure, waiting to Datsun to authorise repair then book back in for work before 1000mile of towi...

Re: Annoying Rattle In Rear Somewhere
Not sure if you have got a fix but I had same issue on mice when new (March '14). 3 visits to the dealer before the fault found...it was a lose washer below the aerial in the void where the roof sun screen folds and the headlining. Before the fault was finally found we had the exhaust heat shield re...

Re: Qashqai's indicators visibility
I had a number of very near misses on a mini roundabout on my way in to work due to the right turn not being clear due to the bright DRL's. I added the issue in feedback to the directors office resolution team but had no comment in return.

Re: STICKY: 1.6dci Misfires Misses a Beat
Not 100% sure but I think the "misfire" feeling is when the dpf goes into regeneration. Happens on my car about once every 800 miles and coincides with a 5mpg drop in economy and a slight change in exhaust note.
I've just taken it as a part of normal diesel engine / exhaust cycle.

poor paint quality
Mine is almost a year old and, during a post winter good clean, have just noticed that my drivers door sill has had the paint rubbed down to primer by the door seal. Not a good thing to see and something else to add to my "un happy" list during it's first service in 2 weeks time. Lots of s...

Parking Sensors !!!
Mine went in to local Nissan dealer under the supervision of Nissan UK. Finally found the fault to be water ingress and has been resolved for the last 8 weeks. I'm happy that the problem is resolved, less happy that I suggested a continuity problem from day 1. Time for 1st service now...many niggles...

Parking Sensors !!!
[quote="AlleyCat"] Had mine in on Monday for the fabled software upgrade that "fixes" this front parking sensor issue. It didn't work. This didn't come as a massive surprise to me as it would appear to be caused by water ingress. It's got to go back again for another look see. I ...

Parking Sensors !!!
Mine is in the dealers for the 4th time to resolve two parking sensor issues. 1st issue is the front centre sensors see an object in front of the car when it out clear. Usually happens when it's been damp / misty conditions but also happens in rain or even when dry the day after rain or the day afte...

Tow Bar
I had same issue. All towbars are dealer fit and they need to tell system that towbar is fitted or the towbar is detected (sometimes) by the rear sensors.
I still have to manually deselect the rear sensors though. It's a pain but not as bad as dealing with the monkeys at the dealers.

Acenta premium roof bars/bike rack
Back on topic... I have the Acenta Premium and really do need a roof mounting system. I avoided the top spec model due to the harsher ride from the 19" wheels on the promise that a roof mounting foot pack will be available v.soon. I've just done my first family week long break and missed the ro...
