Re: Who hates their Qashqai? Feel free to elaborate
I am on my 3rd QQ, with the previous 2 being accepted back by the dealer for various reasons..... 2017 1.2 N-Connecta - noisy gearbox upon collection requiring replacement, rejected immediately. Also noted how under-powered the engine felt, after being only able to test drive a 1.3 version. 2019 1.3...

Re: bose amp
The amplifier is under the drivers seat, The subwoofer is what is in the boot. Get a 17" space saver for a Nisaan X-Trail, just watch the tyre profile or its a tough fit. Worth putting some plastic tube over the subwoofer caable to protect it. There is a big thread on here about doing it, and p...

Re: Qashqai 2019 1.3 engine problem after thermostat replacement
I had mine replaced today, as I was too concerned about the risk of failure. See attached photos of the new and the old housings, for comparisson Cost be £140+tax for the part, and 2.5hrs labour and some coolant at a local mechanic. IMG_4225.jpg IMG_4213.jpg The new one seems a little more chunky a...

Re: Qashqai 2019 1.3 engine problem after thermostat replacement
My booking quoted part number CD42A6 but my invoice listed the part as N110600260R. Hope that helps. Thanks, 1x N110600260R on order. They confirmed it supersedes 3 or 4 previous part numbers, so I think that corroborates some earlier comments here. They wanted £275 to install it, where as a truste...

Re: Qashqai 2019 1.3 engine problem after thermostat replacement
My dealer cannot find the part number CD42A6, they said part numbers are usually 10 digits.
Can anyone advise? I obviously don't expect Nissan to be publishing it as a 'improved design' part, so maybe this isn't helping!

Re: Qashqai 2019 1.3 engine problem after thermostat replacement
hi nissan paid for the parts I,e the new engine I have to pay for the labour £1600 but we will see about that I have it on 9 month interest free credit that gives the ombudsman time to sort out How strange…. Sounds like they are admitting liability but also not! I suppose it’s a “gesture of goodwil...
