Here is a picture with the wipers in their PARKED position as previously pointed out,they need re orientating on the drive spindle to over come this problem,if anyone has a problem with this reasoning please advise Dave

Yes AJ couldnt agree with you more,but my point is when they are parked the drivers side arm cannot be fully lifted without contact with the bonnet edge,would you like to see an image of the problem.Dave
