Re: Tapping noise in rear on straight roads
Hello
I performed the operation of bending the tongue inside The hole and put back some silicone. I did it on one side. The noise is still there. Should it be done on both sides?

Re: Tapping noise in rear on straight roads
Looking at my picture I think it's the place indicated by a red arrow that's a problem? Is that where you have to slightly spread the silicone and inject it? If that's the case, I'm a little stuck in the access area because I have the black part that prevents me from going further... This part appea...

Re: Tapping noise in rear on straight roads
Hello, I tried to access the area indicated by Nomader by removing the roof canopy. I didn't remove it entirely because I think I managed to find the right place to intervene. However, I did not find the part indicated by arrows on the previous picture. Is that normal? On my side, I injected silicon...

Re: Tapping noise in rear on straight roads
Hello
When you talk about the solution presented in this topic you mean filling the space between the second sheets of the trunk with silicone?
Yet from what I read from your feedback, you said that the noise reappeared after a year?

Re: Tapping noise in rear on straight roads
Do you think going to an independent body shop that doesn't work for Nissan would be a good idea?
Would he be able to catch up on these bad welding spots?

Re: Tapping noise in rear on straight roads
Hi !
I don’t try the solution of Duncho and Nomader because they said the noise come back after one year of silence.
But I wait for the solution of TexHolog ...

Re: Tapping noise in rear on straight roads
Hello I am a owner of a 2015 Qashqai and I have the same noise as you. It is a metallic noise (like a clack) that comes from the back, in my opinion. The dealer spread the sheets at the top of the trunk under the joint. The noise had disappeared and it reappeared. The dealer again spread the sheets ...
