Re: What do you think about your new J12 Quaquai?

I have a tekna+ auto ordered in Sept 21 and delivered in Dec 21. Brilliant car! Nearly every aspect of the car is better than my 2019 J11 tekna+ except the fuel consumption which is bad! My old car did 38mpg, now after 3000 miles the new one is doing 32mpg. It seems that all that hybrid gubbins is n...

Re: J12 fuel economy

Same journeys same load:- My J11 spec as below did 38mpg over 20,000 miles, which was same as the official figure. My J12 spec as below has done 32mpg over its first 1000 miles, official figure 43 mpg. If this is what happens when you go hybrid, I'm glad this one's only mild! I have a regular 50 mil...

Re: What do you think about your new J12 Quaquai?

I’ve just done 1000 miles in my new Tekna+ auto, I traded in my two year old similar spec J11 so am in a good position to compare In nearly every aspect it’s much better. The driving position is the best I’ve ever had, the ride is better and it’s even quieter. I even had a passenger ask if it was el...

Re: What brand of tyres did your J12 come with

In the UK, took delivery of my Tekna+ with 20" wheels end of Nov 21 and it came with Michelin Primacy 4 235/45R20. These appear a little slim for the wheel width meaning that the rims have little protection if you touch the kerb.

Re: Auto Parking not fitted on my J12 Tekna+

I haven't see it listed on the specifications for any UK J12. Yes it is in the owner's manual with the caveat of 'where fitted'. The J12 is a different car to a J11 so always risky to assume that things carry over as was. IPA has been dropped by many car manufacturers now. Got to say I only used it...

Auto Parking not fitted on my J12 Tekna+

The first time I went to use the Intelligent Parking Assist on my new J12 Tekna+ I couldn't find it. I then had a look in the manual and found there should be a button just above the phone shelf next to the phone charging light, but its not there! Is this an extra on the Tekna+? On my J11 Tekna+ it ...

Re: 5 days in, tekna plus

I have a J12 auto and have noticed this hesitation which seems to happen every time you press the accelerator, even at motorway speed. I hope it gets sorted because this stands out as a negative in a car where just about everything else is a positive.

Re: J12 fuel economy

Not very good so far! My teckna+ auto is averaging 32mpg after 500 miles whereas my old equivalent spec Qashqai was doing 38mpg and the journeys have been the same. Maybe it will get better as it loosens up? I won't be very happy if it doesn't! Short review so far: Good: Much more comfortable, bette...

Re: New Qashqai Service Interval?

Many thanks to all for the help. I see that I should have something stuck in my Maintenance Record booklet but the page is blank....

I've just got the Nissan Connect app on my phone and sure enough, it tells me when my next service should be. Thanks Sandgrounder

Re: How to drive downhill?

.... the Institute of Advanced Motorists advise "Gears are for going, brakes are for slowing". I think you're confusing their advice for, say, approaching a junction or traffic lights, with their advice for going downhill which reads to me more like using the gears: From various sources: ...
