Re: Fuel for 1.3 Dig-T PS140

Hi all, the fuel tank on my QQ 1.3 Dig-T PS140 states it takes ‘Premium 95 Octane’ - a quick google and this seems to equate to good old regular unleaded Is that what other drivers with this engine are using ? Would I see any benefits from the 97/98 octane and more expensive super unleadeded ? Ther...

Re: 1.2 or 1.3 manual

My 2019 1.5 litre diesel with the new 115hp AdBlue engine has the old SD infotainment system. That is very odd. Have you questioned the dealership about this? The new infotainment system was specifically launched at the end of 2018 when they released the 1.3 and the updated 1.5 diesel which I also ...

Re: 1.2 or 1.3 manual

As Gloucester has quite rightly pointed out there are a lot of QQ’s out there that appear to be the “New Design” QQ externally and internally. But these have as mentioned the older Entertainment System and importantly the old 1,2L Motor which is not clean and is now superceded by the 1,3L (Euro 6d ...

Can you please point which early 1.3 models didn't have? Curious.

So far what I can gather, that feature was made available when they released the 1.3 models. Unless there's something I've missed. Thanks

... I believe you could've done better. I believe I couldn't - we'll agree to differ Just for you. All time average of 40mpg in snow, for a week by the mountains of Slovakia and Poland (High Tatras) with an automatic 1.5 litre petrol Skoda Kodiaq. Another one. "Trip" to Birmingham, 61mpg ...

Re: 1.2 or 1.3 manual

The 1.3 has over the 1.2... - More power and torque. Pulls like a diesel and still drives like a petrol. The 1.2 struggles a lot with lower revs while the 1.3 you can pull as early as 1500rpm. I believe this to helps fuel economy. - Quieter to drive due to new technology implemented on the design of...

Re: MPG Lemonade Research (hypermiling & advanced driving)

I averaged 34.2mpg in my time with the 1.2. Highest was 41.7mpg on a trip to Heathrow - on Momentum 99 which I inconclusively used for a short while. Specially considering the driving variables can affect tremendously the final outcome. I believe you could've done better. Speaking in a general sens...

Re: Panoramic roof - Insusers not covering (UK)

Calnorth, The fact pano roof is glass sadly means nothing, otherwise other insurers wouldn't strictly put aside out of the glass category and consider it a body panel. But I still have to challenge my insurer on this matter why my policy isn't covered. I've made aware by a Tesla 3 owner, has LV and ...

Re: Panoramic roof - Insusers not covering (UK)

That's odd. There should be a section where it specifies what doesn't cover, because panoramic roof is different to "window glass".

I would give a call to the insurer for the peace of mind.
