Re: New Upgrades - Nissan Qashqai Tekna + with Pro-Pilot

There is nothing wrong with going abroad and buying an R/H drive car, well within Europe anyways.

Re: Cracked Windscreen Again!!!

Windscreen number 3 cracked, all within 12 months, so that's 3 screens in one year! I have been driving since 1984 - 85 and had probably 1 or 2 screens replaced up until the start of last year. Is it poor manufacturing on the windscreens on Nissan cars, the QQ in particular or just bad luck?...

Re: Weak Windscreen?

Thanks Dave, will take a look Daewar, read your problem out to the wife this morning and she mentioned could it be a temperature problem, hot day, blower on cold air etc. The wife then looked in an ADAC (RAC/) Report and a guy mentioned a similiar happening on a VW Passat with a Camera System simili...

Re: Weak Windscreen?

Today my windscreen has cracked all on its own after parking up at the gym and upon returning after about an hour. You can clearly see the area of damage on the chequered pattern that blocks out sunlight. There is no cracking on the external laminate, only on the inside where it looks like something...

Re: J11 Camera quality and upgrade?

The cameras are a bit fuzzy but fully usable. In addition, you get the all-round view + there are other warnings when you are to close to objects/people that flash red in the area of interest. I have a new BMW M140i and so miss the all-around view of the cameras.

Re: Run Flat Tyres

You do realise cars have not used tubed tyres for 30 - 40 years, maybe longer!! Did you mean Tubeless? Run-flat tyres have very hard sidewalls which makes them good for some performance cars, but for most, it makes the ride very hard and uncomfortable making them only suitable for good quality roads...

Re: blocked pressure sensor pipe

Why doesn't your mechanic clean the pipe out? Someone here in the forum used wire (think it was brake cable with multiple strands) on an electric drill to clean his out. You could also try Cooker cleaner like Mr Muscle https://www.mrmuscleclean.com/en-gb/products/kitchen/mr-muscle-oven-cleaner as it...

Re: 2010 n-tec 1.5 Di. Headlight cover.

To dry your light out you can put rice into a cloth bag, it will absorb the moisture over time. Also, you can use a silica-based desiccant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desiccant to absorb the moisture, this will save you taking the light unit apart. I have got a qashqai and the headlight keeps mist...

Re: Slip control warning lights and ECM recall!

Hutch, Thanks for giving the forum your experience with this fault, I'm sure someone will benefit from it at some point, if not already. :+1: Hi, as I got zero response to this I thought I would post what happened. The ECM recall was nothing to do with it. Apparently slip warning lights or traction ...
