Re: blocked pressure sensor pipe

Why doesn't your mechanic clean the pipe out? Someone here in the forum used wire (think it was brake cable with multiple strands) on an electric drill to clean his out. You could also try Cooker cleaner like Mr Muscle https://www.mrmuscleclean.com/en-gb/products/kitchen/mr-muscle-oven-cleaner as it...

Re: 2010 n-tec 1.5 Di. Headlight cover.

To dry your light out you can put rice into a cloth bag, it will absorb the moisture over time. Also, you can use a silica-based desiccant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desiccant to absorb the moisture, this will save you taking the light unit apart. I have got a qashqai and the headlight keeps mist...

Re: Slip control warning lights and ECM recall!

Hutch, Thanks for giving the forum your experience with this fault, I'm sure someone will benefit from it at some point, if not already. :+1: Hi, as I got zero response to this I thought I would post what happened. The ECM recall was nothing to do with it. Apparently slip warning lights or traction ...

Re: Juddery Clutch

Could be several things from contaminated, worn, dirty clutchplate, pressure plate, dual mass flywheel springs, or even the thrust bearing where it moves along the output shaft. I suppose it could be the clutch slave/master cylinder. One of the main things I can say though is that is very unlikely t...

Re: Once again the Government is at it again

I don't think it's about dog shit, its more about dangerous dogs. I feel you just put your foot in it ;) Also, all dogs have to have a chip, so there is a kind of licence in a roundabout way. Would've thought breed-specific dog licences were a more pressing need. Well thats a different subject. But ...

Re: Nissan Connect LCN1 (J10) and LCN2 (J11) LATEST Map Europe

Has anyone messaged Black_rojer regarding the availability of the new map? No, that's the v2 card. The v3 card has been out 18 months, and the v4 card should be out sometime soon as described above. The v3 card may have been out 18 months but that's not the card I had from the dealer 12 months ago u...

Re: Emergency braking problem

Pandjh, Certainly appears to be the system is far too sensitive Hi Daewar, I do have a dashcam and so took a look back at the footage this morning. What i didn't see at the time was a pedestrian cross my path some 20 metres ahead of me. Fair enough to alert me in most circumstances but not when I am...

Re: Speed camera warning

This is a very common practice to stop domain name hijacking etc. Look at google https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=google.com or even my domain http://whois.domaintools.com/pardoe.eu Anybody know exactly who operates speedcamupdates.com ? I don't like websites that hide/omit owner physical addr...
