Re: Warning lights

Doug, You post reminded me about some cars having corrosion on the earthing point, under the battery area causing multiple warnings. So I would recommend checking that. Sounds like the dreaded old battery problem. Has the car got a Renault FIAMM battery fitted? You get some obscure warnings pop up, ...

Re: Leaking water in driver's footwell

This could be made into a comedy, such muppets. Time for a new repair agent :( Well my saga is still on-going. I took the car in for a second time once they had the correct part only to be told it would take 2 days( We were told one!!). As we were going away the next day with the caravan we had to p...

Re: J11b Headlight replacement (Adaptive Lighting System)

I have a 2016 Tekna with LED headlights and find them fantastic, they even outdo the awesome BI_Xenon headlights on my previous Mini Coupe. They are so good, when it is foggy, using fog lights pointless. These lights also auto level and are far better than the manual leveling setting. I agree about ...

You may wish to hold off for a couple of weeks as the latest annual map update is due any time soon.

Re: New here and need help please

Hi, I have never tried this, but may be worth a shot. You won't be pulling much voltage/amps with this idea. How about you get a battery charger and connect it to the positive & negative during the battery swap. Keep the car ignition off etc. That would be enough to keep power onto the car 12v syste...

Re: Extended warranty

I would imagine your still have consumer rights on your side, so the repair should be fit for purpose etc. Making a claim would be more troublesome though. I would like to think there would be a separate warranty for the new Engine, or any other part that is replaced. I asked about that with the dea...

Re: ABS light and traction light

I would suggest you pause the video at the point where it shows the pipe where it joins to the exhaust manifold. Take a screen grab or just keep the paused video on an I-pad / android pad & take it to a Nissan garage and ask for the pipe, just like the guy did in the video. It looks like there may b...

Re: Low level buzz/ringing from around battery area when hood open

My Mini Coupe used to make a buzzing noise when I popped open the bonnet. Was reasonably loud and I always thought it was something to do with the alarm system. Everything was working perfect with the car apart from the battery that was on its way out and caused the Start stop system not work. The o...

Re: Reliability

Hi My QQ is about 2 1/2 years old and I have had a few warranty issues. The main stopper was with the FIAAM battery that has now been replaced, the car would not start out of the blue, no warnings prior to the fault. Its well documented and should not return. I've had a squeaking driver seat that wa...
