Re: buyanewcaronline
I did look at CarWow when we bought ours. They came up with some really good deals - which I then showed our local dealer which saved having to drive across country!

Re: Boot contents
Also in the UK and didn't get a safety kit. As my QQ is now coming up on 18months old I think I'd be lucky to claim it was missing at this point! (Actually, I don't think I got the wheel nut tweezers either, will have to have a look). A check-list would have been useful.

Re: What does j10 / j11 mean?
And better looking too ;) Which way around? It's very interesting to see the two pics next to each other. I'd never really noticed the differences to that extent before. I like the J11 door handles on the crease line and the elegant front curve of the bonnet. All in the eye of the beholder I suppos...

Re: Exterior plastic scuff & dulling
When I asked this question I was pointed to Simoniz "Back to Black" bumper shine.
Tried it, not impressed. My minor scuffs on the rear wheel arch are still there. Can't tell where it has/hasn't been applied once it's had time to dry.
Willing to try something else though.

Re: Brexit - Nissan
I strongly suspect that Nissan, Toyota and Honda are only in the UK because it helps them avoid tariffs exporting into the European mainland. If Brexit comes to pass and, say, one of the new eastern states offered them a cash incentive to relocate (in the same way they got cash to come here) I would...

Re: Is my 2015 Qashqai is a Lemon
No, no one. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say all these problems have been suffered by someone, just no one person. It does sound like an extensive list. If you search for individual problems you'll find that they have, most likely, been solved eventually. It must be very disheartening to be...

Re: First time taking my new QQ Tekna on a long drive!
ImoT / Beardyman have you or will you do the same with your Dealer or NCS ?. It is an interesting point that needs answering - Dave Dave, no I haven't raised this point. I just assumed that was how Nissan speed limiter works. Next time I go into the dealership I'll mention it I but expect to be tol...

Re: First time taking my new QQ Tekna on a long drive!
I have the same experience with my QQ when going downhill. It exceeds the set speed, beeps and flashes the display but still gets faster. My previous car was a Mercedes that actively braked to hold the car at the indicated speed. The QQ seems to rely on engine braking even with speed limiter selecte...

Re: Radio Traffic Announcements
Top tip! Thanks. I'll try this out. I've been missing this facility since getting the QQ.duncho wrote:Folks it is easy. Turn up volume during TA and this volume level will be memorized for future TA irrespectively what volume for media is adjusted
