Re: Stop/Start System Fault
I agree.. It’s an unfortunate situation in that I won’t let this go. There are many people on the net suffering from the same faults as mine but choose not to proceed. It’s stressful but the longer they take the stronger my case as Cleary from day one communication to Nissan from me could not be cl...

Re: Stop/Start System Fault
Many thanks for your reply. I have contacted the Ombudsman giving them the full back ground and story. They have replied that they have read everything and believe I have a case so will proceed with this. I’m still trying to get all the records from my dealership of everything they have done and su...

Re: Stop/Start System Fault
Car that is 7 months old. This vehicle AFAIK holds a 3 year guarantee. Where the car does not meet the production specification and performance then the seller is responsible for correcting that PDQ. Either that or refund/replacement which meets consumer law. Check the Consumer Law on the UK Govt we...

Re: Stop/Start System Fault
Difficult to diagnose at distance. Christmas tree warning lights are next to useless really as they can be triggered by a particular fault that impacts multiple functions. TBH I'd be looking at an electrical fault where multiple warnings arise. Battery being one area and the IPDM (power distribution...

Re: Anyone actually bricked their Media Connect whilst updating firmware?
If its D prefix its Connect 2. F16 is Connect 3 (as mine) and does not have any update issued...it works (just) without any errors. The price for a Connect box is huge and £4K is about right. They will also send it for repair to France if necessary and that takes months and not free. You will see a ...

Re: Anyone actually bricked their Media Connect whilst updating firmware?
If that is 2017 production it is J11b and the Media box is connect 3. As is mine and has not needed any firmware update to date. Nor has been issued. Check for the firmware version currently in the menu and let us know You are in a changeover year to facelift models...the media box might be Connect ...

Re: Intermittent Aircon Issue
Unfortunately there is a lot that can go wrong. The A/C-Heater system uses a Controller module that takes external and internal measurements from sensors plus driver inputs. Adjusts Compressor switching and internal air flaps. Is a complex story. There are about 10 error codes that can be scanned bu...
