Re: Collecting new QQ - any tips?

couldn't find how to easily pause/mute music playback from iPhone With the ignition on, the connect unit is in an 'always on' state and the connect on/off button then works as an audio off button. With the CD, I just press the big on/off button on the connect unit. Pressing the button again picks t...

Re: Collecting new QQ - any tips?

Re. the above pre-conditions regarding brakes firmly applied. Not true on my QQ - as soon as the car has stopped then 'stop/start' kicks in. Foot brake and ePB have no bearing.

Re: 2016 Qashqai problems

I know that i would be devastated if i felt like you about my car and i have no desire to rub salt into the wounds.
My experience has been the polar opposite to yours. I will post a review tonight on a new thread when i get home.

Re: 2016 Qashqai problems

I filled the tank with zero miles on the fuel computer which took 50 litres. With those 50 litres I've manged 329 miles which equates to 29.9 mpg..........That's pretty poor in my book. Something wrong there. I have the same 1.2 petrol engine and if I put 50 litres in then I expect around 500 miles...

Suppled spare wheel jack

I bought the spacesaver wheel when I took delivery of my 2016 Qashqai and thought I would do a dry run of using the kit so I would be ready if the time came. The kit comes with a black 17mm Wheel Brace and also a silver rod with a hook at one end and a large screwdriver at the other. 1. Which one is...

Re: Testing Alarm and Emergeny Brake System

Also the white emergency braking active symbol disappears from the cluster underneath the digital clock. With regard to ...

Re: Gradient required for Hill Start Assist

Dave, I did see the six month old thread and was tempted to resurrect it but that thread is about the Electronic Parking Brake and the difficulty of pulling away on a hill. I should have titled this thread "Gradient required for Hill Start Assist" and I apologise to the forum for the vague...

Hill Start Assist

Been trying to get used to the Hill Start Assist. Just about mastered it and certainly prefer it to trying to pull the handbrake off on a hill - but - I thought Hill Start Assist was enabled on any gradient above 3%. My experience is that the gradient has to be at least 15% for the green light to ap...
