OIl Recommendations?

Rob, my boyfriend, was reading some of the technical descriptions in the owner's manual and noted that Nisan recommends 0W-20 oil for all seasons. WE live up here in the cold New England area of the USA, where 0W-20 might be advisable in the cold months, but it does get warm (not warm enough or long...

Re: Tyre recommendation

I just had four of these fitted to replace the Yokohama Geolander G055's that came on the car. Horrible tire (in my opinion) for wet/snow/ice. Not enough traction to get out of their own way. The ones I picked were the Falken WildPeak A/T off/on-road tire. They look like a snow tire but perform like...

Re: Monkey Vs Door Handle

Thanks, Dave. I'm going to order the stainless steel version. These come with the little piece to block the IK hole. Since I have the S model of the Rogue Sport, it doesn't have the IK option, which I much appreciate. Over here, we have gangs that operate scanners to read the codes your fob throws a...

Re: Brake Light Lens Removal

I just saw this and will definitely buy a few bottles for my 'Mr. Handyman'. Still wrestling with the lens covers, but we did manage to change out the backup lights! Now, that was a cluster 'F' of the first order! Thankfully, I ordered a 410 piece kit of various fasteners and clips for the Nissan au...

I found these. Will they do the job?

Re: Brake Light Lens Removal

Thanks for the comeback on this issue. We'll work on it once the weather gets just a little warmer - it's been sub=zero here for some time and standing in the garage for any length of time and trying to work with gloves on is a pain! ;)

Re: Brake Light Lens Removal

Thanks, Dave and Glouchester! You guys are great! I ordered the paint from Amazon yesterday and will get these damn things off somehow. I was thinking, after seeing the videos that the main issue seems to be the part at the very front of the lens cover - the one with the slot. What if we trimmed the...

Re: Rear light cluster

Thanks for the info! Mine is a super hard fit - won't budge in spite of every bit of force I put on it. I'm changing both sides from OEM halogens to LED brake light and neither side moves after the bolts are removed. I think I'm going to trim that front slot connector down just a little bit once I g...
