Mpg.
I've a Tekna CVT diesel and was told by salesman that I would achieve around 45 - 50 mph. Good job I didn't hold my breath. On a good week around 35mph.
I now seem to be a consistent 48mpg which would seem bang in the middle and I'm well pleased with that 11,00...

Failed transmission !!!!!!

"jamais deux sans trois"We hope not of course, but given the amount of traffic on here and the undoubted success of the car it seem that you are unlucky, very unlucky. On the one it's refreshing not to be a CVT we're talking about here (i've never had a problem there either). What can you d...

DPF is the reason I want to sell my car

I'd go with ACENTA every time it seems to be the case that the technology has finally produced a good engine without any such problems and more to the point no need for concern. Good to hear that Quaker has at least moderated his views over time. Kentishman and I seem to have a near identical patter...

Hackers attack a Jeep's UConnect system

I did note on BBC News the other day that it is possible to take control of the car through a digital radio channel. The point being made at the time is that there aren't any standards set to take account of 'hacking' and it seems there need to be.

J11 QQ Breaking For spares

Surprised that a rear end shunt, albeit a heavy one would be a total write-off. Insurance is a must!

Stop knocking this car!

Pity that just about every thread like this ends up with a load of balances and checks to deflect any positivities. Just for the record I've had mine for 15 months now with no problems whatsoever and I find the CVT very responsive. The one thing that does make sense is that any buyer should have a de...

Use of flash drive in USB port

There is a problem there in as much that you do need to plug your iPhone in to the USB socket if you wish to take advantage of the Apps. That socket does not cope with two connections as Splank explained.

BBC Watchdog 11615 Diesels_bio fuel

It was a good piece and yet it does go to show the dangers of reading too much into these things. Absolutely every sympathy for those affected and yet why does this remind me of the CVT 'issues'?

GROUP BUY: QQ J11 (>2014) bonnet/hood strut kit

IanPleased to say that the kit arrived today and all seems to be as expected - many thanks and pleased to see that you weren't left holding stock. That would have been a real shame but it does emphasis the dangers of such a group-buy. Much the wiser no doubt?
