Re: New car fitted with wrong acid battery
I should have said " in reality it can struggle on the QQ, partly due to its charging system ". Duncho will tell you all about that. Knowing that AGMs and EFBs have different characteristics, the RAC man spent some time with laptop and software making sure the parameters of the Bosch batte...

Re: Auto levelling headlight
I didn't find anything about removal or installation of the adjustment motor itself; manual just says it's "integrated".
As you say, if you want to take out the headlight, unfortunately the bumper has to come off first.

Re: New car fitted with wrong acid battery
Yes, that's the standard Qashqai battery, an Enhanced Flooded type. It's supposed to be able to cope with stop/start but in reality it struggles, and a large batch from 2014-15 failed prematurely, as did mine from my 2015 N-tec+. My dealer wasn't prepared to look at my non-starting car for three wee...

Re: Loss of Power and Judder on Motorways
My 1.6dCi neither looses power (accelerates wildly) or loses power (slows down) during regeneration. Fuel consumption may go up a bit, there's a slight smell, and the fan may stay on for a few minutes when parking even if its cold outside. But it's never affected the car's performance when driving. ...

I e-mailed you with this info on Jan 23rd but you haven't picked it up...TeknaTom wrote:Hi Hound, any chance you still have this tech bulletin laying around and could possibly email this to me? I want to take my car to my dealer today as my warranty runs out in April and would like to get it sorted ASAP.

Re: Aftermarket radio
It looks fairly simple on the face of it... Nissan connector to ISO power and data male... ISO power and data female to 20-pin connector. converter.jpg The question is whether your radio uses more pins than are standard on the adapter harness. Black_Rojer may have the answer. By the way you can't at...

Re: Aftermarket radio
Oh a satnav, not just a stereo... Connect 1/LCN1 I think. I believe it's a Bosch and the rear will look like your original photo. My service manual for the J10 doesn't cover this, so perhaps the best person to advise you is Black_Rojer , our resident expert in Russia. He knows the Nissan Connect sys...

Re: Aftermarket radio
What does the old radio look like? Is it one of these? First is Clarion PN-3000, second is Daewoo AGC-0070 (or 0071). They are typical Nissan fittings, the Daewoo being fitted to later models. radios.jpg The Clarion and Daewoo have similar connectors, but they don't look quite like those in your fir...
