It is a common fault.
Your dealer will be able to perform a software upgrade that cures this fault

Even with an intermittent fault I think tThe car stores the error codes.
With luck, a local garage might be able to help.

Not in the slightest mechanically mind but enjoy programmes like "wheeler dealer" and this brings to mind an episode about an old diesel (estate ? SUV ?) which just needed some seals and O rings replaced.

Fingers Crossed it’s something simple

I’m almost certain that Nissan say X thousand miles (more than 2,400 !!) or 12 months so a service is definitely overdue
