I haven’t noticed this on my J12 CVT but I will watch carefully tomorrow when I go out.

I have noticed that the brightness increases (and decreases) incrementally until the last little bit and then it’s like looking at the sun.
It occurs to me that it might be for countries where days are brighter than we usually see in the U.K.
It’s certainly manageable using the controls though

I have a 160bhp Tekna+ all wheel drive, CVT automatic transmission. I feel for you but I seem to have avoided most of the common problems. You might be wise to look for a similar age n-connecta (maybe ?) but a car with with 18 inch wheels and take a test drive. It's possible that there’s no perceived improvement.
