Re: New Member - Purchase Advice?

Avoid the 1.2 petrol engine and the CVT auto. I changed mine to a new 1.3 Tekna DCT Auto and there is a big difference. I got a quote for my new car from Carwow and also a trade in price. They sent me details of what was available. Not a great choice of colour at the moment. That Carwow quote was th...

Re: ALL-NEW NISSAN QASHQAI BREAKS COVER

Tkey have just mentioned the new QQ on our local Tyne Tees TV news saying it will be assembled at Sunderland. They showed a photo of the car in its 'dazzle' coat. I doubt if they will get many pre orders showing that pic.

Re: ALL-NEW NISSAN QASHQAI BREAKS COVER

I tried Pro Pilot a few weeks ago when on a local motorway and didn't like it. You have to keep hands on steering wheel and can feel it adjusting all the time. I steer much more smoothly than that. I set the radar to follow a car in front when going through a 50 mph spped limit. When the car in fron...

Re: 2020 Connect - Speed Camera locations

It is mad but we miss the warning sound as we aproach the local camera locations. We know where they are so don't need the warning. Guess we are brain washed with it from the previous car.

Re: Query on new QQ order

I didn't like the proposed look of the next QQ. It looks like it is going to be more chunky fronted like the Hyundai cars. Instead decided to go for the latest 1.3 Tekna Auto and don't regret it at all. Got a brilliant deal at the local main dealer who was better than the Carwow quote that I was goi...

Re: Another newbie

I tried the Pro Pilot for the first time the other day and can't see the point of it. I could feel the somewhat jerky corrections being made at the steering wheel all the time whereas when I steer it is much smoother with a lot less corrections. Also as I was locked on behind a car and going through...

Re: Nissan Production Figures

I looked at all the manufacturers figure last week and Nissan didn't do too badly compared to all the others. I bought a new one to help them out last month. lol

Re: Just bought a Tekna - its arrived

Nice motor. I am amazed at the difference in the way mine pulls away compared to the previous car. I even got front wheel spin the other day. Buffy, I added chrome door handle covers as I think they make it look a bit better. They are very inexpensive to buy.
