Re: Qashqai 2019 1.3 engine problem after thermostat replacement
Hi all, Just about to buy a 1.3 Nissan QQ N-Connecta from Marshall Nissan. It's a Dec 2020 (70) plate. I'm really worried about the issue and when asking the dealer they dismissed it and said the housing is fine. Does anyone know when Nissan updated their thermostat housing and whether the car I'm ...

Re: TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM ISSUE
Had 3 done on my 2019 J11b over the years, all done by the local tyre place, never had any issues with them after. Paid about £70 each time.

Re: Qashqai 2019 1.3 engine problem after thermostat replacement
Seems as if this issue is getting a little more coverage now….take a look at this link. Cannot believe Nissan won’t acknowledge this is a common fault. https://amp.theguardian.com/money/2024/feb/06/nissan-qashqai-engine-cracked-fix-it-main-dealer-servicing and in there you'll see the Joke of the Ye...

Re: Evans Halshaw no longer Nissan New car Dealer
As long as it remains "authorised" you'll be fine. If you have issues beyond the 3 year warranty you'll need a 100% Nissan/Authorised service book to stand even the remotest chance of Nissan acting honourably.

Re: Dashboard tyre pressure incorrect
My local 'shop' just fixed this for free when I had a new sensor fitted. It shouldn't take more than a few mins. They need to reset the sensors to the car, not swap wheels around.

Re: Dashboard tyre pressure incorrect
I have just thought it might have been when I had my tyres changed? I had all 4 changed in September. Might it be that they put the rear wheels on the front of the car and vice versa? Where is the sensor for the tyre pressure? I assume it’s inside the wheel and this connects somehow to the dashboar...

Re: Dashboard tyre pressure incorrect
To get the car readout corrected re tyres mapped to wrong locations you will need to visit a tyre garage who will need to reset it all for you.
