Re: Vibration buzz when car started from cold
I think you will find that when the ambient air temperature is low then certain materials will contract, this allows a gap to form between said materials i.e dash which then allows them to vibrate together causing the buzzing/ rattling noises we hear. Then when things warm up a bit the materials exp...

Re: Vibration buzz when car started from cold
My QQ has a temperature related buzzing/ vibration from the dashboard, if I keep my hand pressed firmly on top of the flat area in the centre then it goes away, not ideal when your trying to drive I suppose. I have tried other heavy objects - the wifes shopping, hand bag etc but this obviously affec...

Re: First Service
If everything is working ok and no squeaks, creaks, rattles and knocking sounds then you should be ok. Just make sure they do any recall work that’s required. Mine goes in tomorrow for its third service, chassis control fault to fix and hopefully the latest sd card. While it’s in I’m having a day fu...

Re: Chestnut Bronze Picked up today
Definitely a marmite colour.
It’s the first time I have looked properly at the front of the new QQ and personally I don’t like it, too much clutter and It looks like an absolute nightmare to clean.
I think Nissan got it spot on with the Mk2 and should have only slightly tweaked it.

The knocking noise from the air box is a well known problem, mine was fixed at the dealers with self tapping screws, there was no charge for this botch......sorry I meant fix.

This only confirms to me that it's time to get rid before the warranty expires.

Re: driver seat problem
Just had my QQ in for this problem along with yet another list of faults, some of which are really starting to worry me now the warranty is close to running out. The dealer has replaced the front strut gaiters which they say were causing the creaking steering noise and the clunking drivers seat........
