I'd have thought CVT is more dependent on mileage which you haven't given.

Batteries often have a warranty on them. I'd have thought for at least three years?

My present Ignis's battery is nearly six years old despite having stop/start.

The drain holes are clearly fine. Looks like a case of physical damage to the edge not "perforation".

Nissan occasionally contribute but we've not heard so much in this respect recently, and it would only normally be considered if there was a full main deale...

When it came to pay the bill was £16,500 - they had added all these "desirable extras" in without discussing it with me!

I declined them all.

I don't recall anyone reporting this issue but I'd certainly hope it was covered by the warranty. Nissan charges a huge amount for replacement (of older systems - unlikely to have changed with this one).

The affected car mentioned is however a later 1.3 not the 1.2
