New QQ has intake resonator?
No big resonator box on my 1.6dCi, so the battery is easily accessible. I don't know whether to feel glad, or feel like I've been cheated out of something!

Tekna roof rails
Here's the translation of that website. They don't give a price for the rails, so certainly live up to their name of "I ANNOY" I would think that it is a major task to fit the rails to a non-rail car, including removal of all internal roof headlining. A dealer would most likely charge a fo...
Not quite sure why people are stating their derv engine MPG's given the OP has a 1.2 petrol?!?! Completely irrelevant!!
As well as the thread being titled simply "MPG", I said that I expected that although my low-mileage diesel's mpg wasn't fantastic, the...

What does Xtronic not put auto park brake on
I thought I explained but I'll try making it clearer... when you park your automatic car, before you turn off the ignition you should put the gear lever in "P". This locks the transmission and so the wheels cannot turn. The gearbox thus acts as a virtual brake. I'd imagine this is why Niss...

What does Xtronic not put auto park brake on
Maybe because you're supposed to put the vehicle in "P" (Park) which, by locking the transmission, effectively brakes the vehicle anyway.

I've now done 550 miles in my 1.6dCi CVT and although I did once see the fuel economy nudge the giddy height of 57 mpg, my highest average is still 54.4 (a fluke, I think) and the usual mixed-condition average is between 45 and 48 mpg. I expect that to improve once I reach the thousands and I imagin...

driver seat problem
The plastic shroud at the bottom of the driver's seatbelt floor mounting knocks against the plastic base of my seat on a rough road surface. I plan to put a foam sleeve around it. Strangely the passenger side has a completely different construction.

Final Countdown....
I find the ride fine but it's a bit noisy on rough road surfaces. When you hit a new smooth road it's suddenly like riding on a magic carpet! Enjoy it when you get it...

Re the electronic brake: just like a normal handbrake, you pull it up to apply the parking brake, push it down to release.
