Re: Aircon Condenser replaced under warranty
Can somebody help me please, by telling me if the following J11 2015 air conditioning behaviour is correct? It seems odd.. When you've had the heater on (say 24 degrees) if you turn down the temperature (to say 19) nothing seems to happen for ages (minutes). The only way to get the cooling back is ...

Re: Aircon Condenser replaced under warranty
IMHO if anybody notices a change in their QQ‘s Air Con Function I would recommend to get it checked out ASAP by a Nissan Dealer as this Problem has been widely reported on the Forum and it will cost you to get it done when out of the „Guarantee“ period - Dave ;) I assume it will still be covered un...

Re: Aircon Condenser replaced under warranty
Does the new gas have the dye that shows up under ultra violet light? My J10 had a leak and when I bought a cheap ultraviolet pen light to have a look, there were green stains everywhere.
Just wondering as you say get it checked out - how?

Re: Toxic Particles inside Cars (Pollen Filters)
Found a video online. Need to reverse for UK cars, but looks a lot easier than the J10..

Re: Toxic Particles inside Cars (Pollen Filters)
The J10 was a pain to do, did it twice OK though.
But I've read on the J11 it is really easy, it just slots in somewhere down to the left of your pedals.

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
I own a 15 plate Nissan Pulsar 1.2 DIG-T auto and it is booked in at Nissan for a full investigation due to excessive oil consumption.I have been monitoring this. 24,500 miles - full service 28,500 miles - 2 litres added 30,500 miles - 1.5 litres added 33,000 miles - 1.5 litres added 35,000 miles -...

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
I queried after my service that is was a bit higher than the high mark, and I was told at Nissan they just use a big jug marked with the correct amount exactly for the engine (4.63 litres) after it has been drained, rather than constantly pour a bit, check dipstick, etc. Basically was told they put ...

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
Don't know if it works nobody has said its came on ...2ltrs down it should have come on...1ltr between high and low on dipstick... I think it's a lot more than 1ltr between the marks. Mine was about halfway down, so I assumed add 500ml which I did. Drove for a day checked again and it was 3/4. Had ...

Re: Distance to Empty - Completely Inaccurate?!?!
The DTE is very temperamental, it uses your current MPG reading to work out how many miles left based on how many gallons left, and as the MPG reading goes up and down, so will the DTE. I've had it say 200 miles to empty, doing city driving so MPG is low, then go on a motorway run for 30 miles and i...

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
Also does your engine make this noise on startup and gently revving at idle... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1vqQAqrE7M&feature=youtu.be Someone told me this was a symptom of low oil, but it was in for a service last week and I was told on demonstrating this noise that it was normal and all e...
