Re: Dipped near side headlight failed

Replaced the nearside and made sure that the connecting pin was in the correct way and the damn thing worked. The connector has 4 pins with pin #2 missing, so it should only...

Re: Turbo blown & engine damage

Thanks Terry64. I will try the dealer that’s looked after the car since new and Nissan Cust Servs but I don’t hold much hope. When it blew everything happened so quick but it was straightforward - a very high pitched whistle, loss of power, red engine light on and I literally coasted 200yrds down h...

Re: Turbo blown & engine damage

I do not see how it has cooked the engine if you checked the oil and it was full, and you pulled over as soon as the turbo went, I drove a merc for miles with out the turbo, the vehicle went into limp mode as soon as turbo went, It did no other damage to the engine. But I only got an orange warning ...

Re: Dipped near side headlight failed

You put the bulb that did not work in the other side and it worked, Have you tried putting the working bulb in the side where it stopped working to see if it comes on. You also mention it came on after a drive and went back out. It could be the bulb has blown but when you move it the tungsten filame...

Re: Front Brake Pads - Sensors?

Just searched a bit more. I found this response: "You don't need any pc software to pull pistons back. Just take off the brake motor from caliber and turn motor coupling with t40 torx CCW. This will back up mechanism. Now you can use the old-style press to press the piston back in." Now t...
