Re: My dear friend 1.6dig-t no more
The Nissan info posted above by DaveBerlin appears to be old info, as the QQ doesn't utilise the front camera for the autonomous breaking, it uses a radar system located behind the front bumper. Sorry, gvmdaddy - you are wrong. The info posted by Dave is correct and current. The referenced "fr...

Re: telephone keypad on nissan connect
yep, parked up. It did cross my mind that it was deliberate for the reasons you suggest, but if that was the case, why allow keypad input to place a call and then remove the keypad during the call.
If that's the way it's designed, fine. Just wondered if I was missing something?

telephone keypad on nissan connect
When making a bluetooth call using nissan connect. If the message asks me to press '1' for sales etc. There is no option to get the keypad back up, so I have to resort to using the phone. The keypad is available as an option when I place the call, but not during the call. Am I missing something? or ...

It does apply to my petrol. I have a very light right foot, so have found this feature very useful.1.6 dig-t wrote:Mine is petrol. Not sure if the same would apply to a petrol engine.

If that is true then Nissan Connect is one dangerous piece of kit!rod9669 wrote:I'd have said it was just as safe as checking facebook when you're doing 56mph down the motorway
Glad I only use it for listening to my Doris Day collection.

Re: Electric car drivers suffering "Charge Rage"
Really enjoyed test driving the leaf last year. Would have gone for it but I was vetoed by the rest of the family.
They suffered from - "range anxiety" - "charge rage" - "engine silence phobia" and "refuelling boredom".
I didn't stand a chance.

Nissan Connect modifications in the area of video streaming could have serious implications to say the very least. Who would sign off the mod for safety/insurance purposes?duncho wrote:add functionalities as is DVB-T2 tuner or video support to allow play video files from USB stick.

When you get your money back then it is the best of results open to you. As I have said before. I have the same model and mine is a a superb car. I can't fault it any way.

Re: Electric car drivers suffering "Charge Rage"
Yes, I think the article drifted off the point. I think Ecotrictity charge circa. £5 per 20 minutes, so to leave your car connected for an hour or more (for most EV's) would be very expensive. I think the "charge-rage" term actually refers to ICE drivers parking in EV bays.
