Re: New Tyres
Michelin crossclimate plus, just had them fitted and really great for this time of year.
Have a read about them, and a couple of people i work with, can vouch for them.

Re: Noise / rattle when engine cold
Hello again, Update on my previous posts. The car is now in the dealership again. I had feared this would be a difficult, un-rewarding process trying to get any where The service manager rang me up and there were three strands to his comments. Its only a ticking sound. Its caused by the fuel pump I...

Re: Mixing tyre brand/type
Tirerack advise against mixing types majorly. But, if need be, put the better tyres on the rear.
I don't think town driving would be affected majorly with different types of tyres.
I'll get the full set in January anyway.

Re: 1.2 Engine Tapping - is this normal (VIDEO)
Definitely not normal. My QQ had a similar noise and it was the timing chain and the tensioner that required changing. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Thanks, was this covered under warranty? Did it totally fix the tapping? If your QQ is still under warranty, then it shouldn't cost you anythin...

Re: Mixing tyre brand/type
Hi Dave, I've had a read of these pages and Michelin had a pretty good one too, thanks for the links. They strongly recommend (and I agree) that across an axle the same tyre must be used. If I was going to mix, my all season cross climate would go on the rear of the vehicle as they have no drive. My...

Mixing tyre brand/type
Hi all, I've been doing a fair amount of reading about tyres. On my QQ I've got 17" alloys currently with 215/60/17 continentals. My front 2 need changed, my rear 2 are at 4/6 mm. I understand the contisports are summer tyres, but we're now coming into winter and was looking into getting some a...
