Re: Side running boards
May look nice but they are not practical. Many people fit them and remove them soon after. I wouldn’t consider them.

-2’C dusting of soft hailstones over black ice, no problems. That’s riding Continental ContiSportContacts 225 x 45 x 19 down to 3mm on the front and new Michelin’s on the back. The only anomaly that occurred was on the flat in static traffic going nowhere so had the epb engaged. Time to move off, fo...

Electronic Parking Brake will only manually release if you have the foot brake on. The auto hold function sometimes can require a bit more throttle to disengage the epb.

If the road surface is good then so is the ride quality. The 19” rims don’t particularly like any size of pot holes or badly uneven surfaces.

Re: 1.2 DIG-T engine trouble
Worth a read, but if you’re an aircraft mechanic you’ll most likely be aware of most of it, so I’d get the wife to read it instead

Re: 1.2 DIG-T engine trouble
This won’t help you I’m afraid, but it’s a good question you can ask at your Nissan garage. We know that the QQ doesn’t have an oil level monitor, but it does have an oil pressure sensor and warning light, so just how low does the oil have to go to trigger the oil pressure warning. Re: 1.2 DIG-T engine trouble
I tend to agree with david sunderland. Oil levels should be checked at least every month. Anything excessive should be noted, topped up and monitored. The onus is on the owner, even if there may be an abnormality with the engine, sorry!

Re: Drivers door internal door locking
No way to ‘auto lock’ and yes it’s only the button for the drivers window that is lit, plus the side mirror button and adjuster. Well, there's a way to autolock. I've been using it for more than a year. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-Car-Auto-OBD-Plug-And-Play-Speed-Lock-Unlock-Devic...
