Re: Turn off seat belt chime?
What chime, our car does not chime, just shows a display in the centre screen between the dials and a yellow light on the centre console (I think).

Re: Creaky Suspension
So we all seem to have this problem. I have also contacted NCS via email and waiting for their answer. I will post again if anything new develops.

Re: Creaky Suspension
Thought I would re-open this subject as I have had this problem. Had it last year and dealer diagnosed upper front suspension mount as the problem. Re: MPG
Our 1.5 has averaged around 1000 miles per month over the last 18 months. This comprises some long runs over 150 miles, quite a few runs of 50-60 miles and a lot of very short hops from cold. The pattern is that the car will spend several days doing only the odd trip to the shops which is around a c...

Re: DPF failure at 7k in 8 months
Not sure about that as our 1.5 is very efficient below 2000 rpm and cruises at 70mph with around 2200 rpm which does not suggest that it is doing anything other than bringing in the required torque at low rpm. I am wondering if it is just the fact that the older and therefore simpler design of the 1...

Re: DPF failure at 7k in 8 months
Am I alone in spotting a bit of a pattern here? It seems to be that the 1.6 is more prone to this than the 1.5? Are the two engines of a completely different design? Yes, they are two very different designs. The 1.5 is much the older and is 8v where as the 1.6 is a newer 16v design. I think you hav...
