I've alerted JackPads to this thread, and they're looking at adapting one of their current pads for the QQ. I see they're in Cheshire (CH6 2SE), so any members local to that, may want to show him your underside when passing!!!

You just have to pull/push power plug into cig lighter socket, and turns itself on automatically as that lighter socket (unlike other one) is permanently live.I just leave in slightly pulled out when parked up.

As the cabling's black, I just thread around an air freshener plugged into one of vents, down into socket;keep cable excess wound up in ashtray. If I was that concerned I suppose you could route behind front of dashboard and back around, or hard wire into glove box area as others have mentioned? Gel...
