e Handbrake failed - Nissan denys fault
Well regardless of if Nissan say it should be in gear, which I don't think is in the handbook, if the brake automatically applies when the engine comes to a stop and there is no way to disengage the brake unless you started the engine then I'd say keep fighting with the lease company and Nissan and ...

Headlights on the n tec +
Well having taken delivery, a major issue for me will be headlights. At the moment when parked in the drive the daylight running LED's appear to be putting out more light than the headlights, albeit no so well directed light. So I'm just wondering if I should go to Halfords and get a decent upgrade,...

2015 QQ 1.2 Auto Feedback Required
I doubt there are many truly bad cars out there, regardless of manufacturer. I could relate some true horror stories about BMW's, Mercs and VW cars. As has already been said, when you consider how many QQ are being built then there is little cause for concern.

It arrived
After four weeks of attempting to keep calm I woke up around 6 am on Friday knowing my new QQ would be arriving in 1 hr 30 mins. Yes folks, an early delivery. I had a shower, shave and aeeee oh yes breakfast. I'd just finished breakfast when I heard the sound on tyres on the driveway gravel. By the ...

Sand and dust under the hood
I've never seen any engine that doesn't pick up debris in the engine compartment, especially now they are always covered in black plastic. Just use an oily rag to wipe it over once a week as I've always done when checking the fluid levels.

e Handbrake failed - Nissan denys fault
[quote="jonceebee"] I think the electric brake is great, pulls away smoothly in all conditions with a light touch. I also find the hill start a great feature and has been valuable when in North Yorkshire with the steep hills, it holds the car with enough time to move onto the accelerator o...

Just seen this posting. Renault have a manual h/b release in the boot. Pull the cord and the brake releases.

e Handbrake failed - Nissan denys fault
Regardless of the problems that I've experienced on a Renault in the vehicles later life, I still prefer the electric handbrake system. I've had three Renaults with it now and to be honest I find manual handbrakes somewhat of a chore, plus when I have a loan car with a manual brake I forget to put t...

e Handbrake failed - Nissan denys fault
I have an electric parking brake on my Renault Grand Scenic (They have been using the tech for a long time) and it has been giving me problems in the past few weeks. Nothing is physically wrong, because the entire assembly has been stripped down. However, they can't find a fault and so everything is...
