Re: Evans Halshaw
I had a run in with them at EH Mansfield a few years back. To cut a long story short I went to view a car they had on their website. I test drove it and agreed to buy it then and there on a debit card. It was £16k. After a short while the salesman came over and explained that the car was actually so...

Re: Qashqai clutch failure
I've got a bit of clutch judder going on (2014 1.2 petrol, 22km miles). I'm the 2nd owner so cant completely rule out misuse of the clutch by those before me who owned it for a year but even so, a juddering clutch after 22k miles is rubbish. I once asked the dealer to look at it but they said they t...

Re: Deciding between new 2017 DiG 1.2T and 1.6T manual Tekna
My 1.2 engine has been rock solid. No issues at all with it. Don't be swayed by a few early teething problems to, what I suspect is, a few dozen owners out of thousands of cars sold. Re dealers, not in London but Bristol Street Motors (part of the Vertu Group) in Ilkeston, Derbyshire have given me f...

Another here of the opinion that threads should open on the last page rather than the first!

Re: TPMS Change costs
No, sorry my post wasn't clear. I purchased a new 2nd set of alloys and wanted to keep the 1st set (and the tyres fitted to them) as a back-up. That meant that I had to not only buy 4 new tyres for the new alloys but 4 new tpms sensors too. The new wheels were 2nd hand but didn't have sensors on the...

Re: TPMS Change costs
I'd keep your eye on Ebay for a used set.
I bought 4 about 18 months ago for £100. They were OEM - I just bolted them on, drove away and they activated themselves and synced with the car.
Seems to me this is a technology that is being used by tyre fitters to make easy money.

Re: Voice activation and windows.
Just want to say I have a brand new Galaxy S8, fresh out of the box, which doesn't work on the long press. Same thing - car display says voice recognition active, radio goes off and then.........nothing. My old S4 worked fine. Very frustrating having shelled out over £600 for a piece of cutting edg...

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
Hello everyone, I wonder if you have any problems to check your oil level given the design of a dipstick tube: it seems to be twisted and when you pull it out, the oil is smeared thus given an imprecise reading. At least this is on Pulsar with 1.2 DIG-T. Is there any gotchas on how to get the preci...

Re: Air Conditioning not very cold
Just been informed today by my dealer that my a/c condenser has arrived in.
2 weeks & 1 day from first diagnosis. Not bad I thought.
