Re: Service interval
I seem to have started a debate that I didn’t intend - at least I am now clear that my three services will be performed yearly ( since I won’t drive 18k in a year), the first will be a minor then alternating. That will satisfy the warranty and lease requirements. I may also arrange a 6 month oil and...

Re: Service interval
After some negotiation I am being offered a 3 year Nissan service plan for £530 (leased car so no finance contribution available). Seems an ok deal which will save me around £140 on retail price of three services,
Any downside or other ideas to squeeze the price down ?

Re: Winter Conditions in UK
Below freezing here in Scotland (no change there). Coping just fine on 19” alloys , more concerned about what the combination of short runs with heated windscreen front and rear, heated seats, blowers and radio are doing to my battery !

Re: N-Connecta and Tekna MPG
I have the 140 Manual Tekna ( so 19” wheels which reduced fuel consumption ) and getting 31 - 49 , but my runs are short
I know it isn’t directly relevant to a 160 auto but just to give you something to compare

Re: Service interval
Thanks Daewar, good advice which I shall heed. My daily commute is only 12 miles each way so the car rarely gets a decent run especially in the winter. Clearly I need to plan some road trips

Re: Service interval
Phew - thanks Dave , you sent me scurrying off to my service/warranty booklet to check. Thankfully it states 1st service due at 18k/12 months. Service indicator on dashboard says the same. It was a worthwhile exercise however as the manual recommends an interim oil / filter change for ‘extreme drivi...

Re: Service interval
Kezzaa, we are in the same boat. We have a 2014 QQ 1,2L and also have a limited mileage of around 5000 / year. From New we had an Oil / Filter Change @ 600 miles to prevent any possible problems. Our Services have been carried out on a yearly basis inc Oil / Filter changes despite the low mileages ...

Re: Service interval
Sorry - I searched but didn’t find a definite answer to my specific question. So thanks for confirming that major & minor services alternate. Which comes first - major or minor ? ( reason for question is that I am obtaining quotes for a Nissan service plan. Since I am leasing the car the quotes ...

Re: Just ordered a Tekna plus.......
I find the ride on the 19” wheels just fine - although you can expect a slightly lesser fuel consumption

Service interval
Hi - I have a new 1.3 Dig-T PS140 QQ Tekna. The service interval is 18000 miles or 12 months. Since I drive a low mileage I will require an annual service.
Nissan offer major services for £269 and minor for £199.
What will my year 1, 2 and 3 services be ? ( major / minor )
