Re: Beeping outside the car

I get a beep (about five) if I get out of the car and shut the driver door with engine running. Other odd beeps likely have something to do with radar/sonic sensors (internal beeps). My Mk 2 2017 FL QQ Keyless has a Factory Reset in the Settings menu...I hit that once and along came the dumb Stop/St...

Re: Problem with DAB radio

This likely won't be helpful: ( I saw DAB+ failure on a 3 year old Mercedes AMG C63 last year..until Merc upgraded the DAB radio software to DAB+) We had DAB in UK from 2013. DAB+ is relatively new to the UK and some of the UK’s national digital and local radio stations use this new technology. Alth...

Re: Clutch/Flywheel Problems

I had a BMW 520i with take off shudder...never fixed it using a garage. Should've done it myself....as usual! Not much in a clutch and obviously a critical item(s). Clutch plate cheap...getting to it crazy money. Costly overall procedure as follows. From the HRA2DDT : Removal and Installation"....

Re: I can't switch off my paired mobile telephone

Not familiar with that QQ model but with any software driven device when things get silly:

System Reset... and pair/unpair again to check satisfactory functioning
Update system software...same pairing procedure above. If update available?

After that it may be a visit to a bona fide Nissan dealer?

Re: Heated seat fault

Much of the QQ J11 subsytems info/data are here: Nissan Qashqai Model J11 Series Service Repair Manual https://cardiagn.com/nissan-qashqai-model-j11series-service-repair-manual/ I've downloaded much of them before they disappear. If anything its general guidance and stuff I always need to hand. Colin

Re: Heated seat fault

Hi, I have just got a 2017 QQ and not used the seat heaters yet. However, in a quest to find how to get the drivers side seat cover (trim) off I came across the Nissan diagram for the seat itself. It includes the heater wiring diagram from fuse via 3 position switch to end of heater(s) line in the s...

Re: Seat Fag Burn...Nissan Cover Material (aka Seat Trim)

Thanks for your reply Dave. I'll give them a call. I'd say this was a seat cover(trim) change...but what do I know? Well, the cheap £25 fill the hole job didn't work.

How's Germany these days. Was there with the RAF twice in the 60's and 70's. Much enjoyed mainly.

Cheers

Seat Fag Burn...Nissan Cover Material (aka Seat Trim)

Hi...am new to this forum so is 1st post. I have acquired a fag hole in my 2017 J11 FL drivers seat. No names yet but was not me. Have tried a Chip and Trim bloke but failed with his sticky stuff. It simply comes off despite treatment with his heat plate a glue stuff. He warned against brushing...so...
