Re: Outdated Sat Nav Mapping

What's the point of buying a car with a sat nav and because the sd card isn't up to date you stick a phone on the window. Defeats the purpose. Sorry. That's life. Ideally the next generation of car will be fully connected and utilise real-time maps from someone like Google, Apple or Microsoft which...

Re: FAQ: Auto relock

So if you just get out of the car, close the door but forget to press the button on the handle, or the fob, then the car stays unlocked. Seems a security problem to me. I'd have imagined a failsafe of the car auto locking after a few minutes but hey - could see an insurer loss adjuster rubbing thei...

Re: Breakdown after 30 miles of ownership !

I picked my car up yesterday bought through Glynn Hopkins in Essex, done 75 miles already and totally loving it. My advice is stick with the car, it's only a component that's gone tilt and not anything major like engine or gearbox seizing. These things happen, they are a pain in the Harris, but they...

Re: Qashqai on PCP. Gauranteed final value

Totally agree with chasing the deal once you've made up your mind on what car to get. I picked my new and shiny tekna 65 plate up yesterday and got it on a PCH deal rather than a PCP. The reason being most people end up NOT buying the car at end of PCP term so ignore the balloon value and concentrat...

Re: 4 x Tekna Alloys - unused

Mate good luck in selling these, your asking price though is very much at top end of what others are asking. They are going for £400 - £500 on gumtree

Re: FAQ: Auto relock

Hi SplanK , thanks, did consider that but was careful not to do anything to the vehicle just closed it ( not locked) making sure before that no windows open etc. And walked away with the ikey. My current Toyota Avensis, not picking up QQ until Wednesday, will only enable auto lock if it's done as p...

Re: False floor for Visia?

By looking at those pictures I would suggest the support ledges are an add on that fit against what would appear to be a uniform boot design. My main concern would be that the Visia floor sits higher than the lower floor position of the Tekna. It looks that way anyway judging from the last 2 pics in...

Re: 4 x Tekna Alloys - unused

If you get 3 others interested I may be interested in buying 1 to keep as a proper spare!
I hate the propensity for gunk or silly space saver spare

Re: Spare Tyre / Gunk / Jack etc

As an aside, I've read that the space saver with padding kit fits under the false floor. Does anybody know if a full size spare would also sit under?

Re: Qashqai's indicators visibility

I don't pick my 65 Tekna up until Wednesday so can't test this..... I read that with headlights on the problem isn't there as daylights are disabled. Is a short term fix until Nissan address this to drive with side lights on (presume that also overrides daylights). Not ideal but at least safe
