Re: Headlights
Auto main beam has also been faultless for me. I can't decide how it knows the difference between random stationary lights and oncoming traffic but I've yet to see it make mistake. Very clever tech.

Re: Semi-Autonomous “Piloted Drive” Qashqai
Dave - yes, that video shows exactly what I get. If I'm in the minority and there is a solution to this I'll get in touch with the dealer but I strongly suspect that it's a fault in the way water droplets gather on the camera lens. I realise that, in theory, the rear camera is self cleaning (and per...

Re: Semi-Autonomous “Piloted Drive” Qashqai
Thanks Dave, I read your other post (and replied) before reading this. I'll try wiping over the cameras though with the car being garaged it usually starts out dry. Within 800 metres of driving in rain, the orange lights are going off at random- and to be honest, it doesn't bother me enough to get o...

Re: Final rant!
Dave, this is probably my only problem! Overall I'm very happy with my QQ. The reason I haven't done anything about the BSW detectors is that from what I've read on this and other forums, it's a known fault that is experienced by all and is an inherent design flaw probably caused by water droplets g...

Okay, perhaps "over performing" would be more accurate?

Re: Final rant!
Quick question: when you say "no problems", does that mean your Blind spot warning lights work perfectly even in the rain or that you don't consider it a problem when the give false detections? Just asking as mine always trigger in even light rain. To be honest it's one of the very few thi...

Re: TOKEN EXPIRED
With the current state of Connect2 (3?), I can't see my self paying for the subscription once the complimentary period expires. I had a quick look at the link that Dave posted and I'd forgotten how "optimistic" the sell was compared to the reality we're experiencing. It really hasn't moved...

Re: Semi-Autonomous “Piloted Drive” Qashqai
I've very keen on the introduction of this technology (hence getting a Tekna) but as I've said before, if it performs in the rain as well as my Blind Spot Detection warning, I'd be reluctant to trust it.

Re: Google Send to Car
Hi as far as i am aware this doesnt work with Nissans anymore Are you saying it isn't possible to set up new accounts for this, or it just doesn't work? I ask because I used it at the weekend to pick a location on GoogleMaps, sent it to the QQ (via iPhone) and then used the Connect system to call u...

Re: Radio Traffic Announcements
I asked this question awhile back. Apparently it can't be done with the current Connect system. Shame really as my previous car could also do this and it was very useful on long journeys when we didn't want the radio on all the time.
