Living with the 1.2 QQ

I wanted the 1.6 diseasel auto QQ for the extra grunt but only a 1.2 was available for test drive, unless I waited weeks. I was pleasantly surprised by the 1.2, but for the hills where I live, the power and fuel economy weren't quite up to the job. The 1.6dCi will be my first Motability car so any p...

does everyone have the tekna?

On Motability your options are restricted when you need an automatic. The only Tekna offered is the 1.2 DIG-T, and I wanted a bigger engine, so went for the 1.6dCi N-tec+. But if anyone would like to swap the leather heated seats for fabric ones and shoehorn the Parking Assist into my car when I get...

2015 Delays

Thanks Mummygilbs - my order is an auto - it's a 1.6dCi Xtronic N-tec+. I was told the waiting list for the 1.2 was longer. I don't mind a six week wait but to wait for four and not even have an estimated delivery date seems a bit slow. I think I will pester the dealer this week!

2015 Delays

A month since ordering and I still don't have a delivery date, I suppose this Euro6 engine lark is delaying things.

Dash Cam Positioning
Nope, no screws. Just prise it off carefully starting with that slot in the lower edge. It's just a bunch of plastic clips holding it in, and it's tucked behind the rubber on the door surround.
Thanks again!

Much appreciated, and glad to know I won't be fighting with any airbag stuff in there. Cheers!

Dash Cam Positioning

Thanks Alleycat, I want to keep the centre console socket free for other stuff though, and not route cables beyond the dash. Aussiebob, brilliant, I appreciate the detailed info. Like you, I will want as invisible an install as possible. I will get a piggyback fuse adapter and socket in readiness. ...

Dash Cam Positioning

Very interested in this thread for when my QQ arrives. I have a G1WH like Aussiebob's and was wondering where to site it due to all the gubbins behind the mirror, and how to wire it in (the front 12v socket isn't ignition-switched).
