Have you checked your battery to see if its on the way out and abs sensor cable as common fault if damaged.

Quite normal so don't worry about it. Not sure what makes you think it should show half way.

If you got abs and anti skid lights on the dash then its the pipe at back of engine blocked and will need removeing on cleaning out and re-fitting. Loads of posts on this site on how ti do it.

What error codes have you got showing

guess the dealer did not take it for a test drive after doing all the jobs on it, if there error code came on that quick they would have spotted it ? was correct battery fitted when you replaced it and was the car set-up to see that new batt had been installed?
