Re: daytime running lights

If you like the look you could always add it with some DRL/Indicator led strips to run along the top edge of the headlight under the bonnet. Many options available from AliExpress.

Re: Spare Wheel kit?

Yes you could look at this company, quite a few members have bought from here including myself. Found the wrench and jack to be very good quality. https://www.thewheelshop.co.uk/?product_cat=nissan-qashqai-1&filter_vehicle-year=2007-present-day The other option is to keep an eye out on here as v...

So if google translate is working correctly then these do come with a controller and some connectors which the instructions that come with the kit explains in detail. However if you already have footwell lights fitted like I did then it is easier to just connect to the wires of these for power. The ...

Re: Puddle lights and footwell lights fitted

I would have to say no...not as they are originally intended to be installed as from what I know of the side steps then their brackets to hold them go across the sill, where these welcome lights are mounted along its length in parallel with. But given the weight of the plastic channel that contains ...

Re: Puddle lights and footwell lights fitted

Many thanks, the most difficult time consuming part was the feeding of the convoluted tube up and through the door hinge grommet hole even with the previous suggested tips. But certainly worth it in the end, still think for what they are even £60 is pushing it, as you could probably get leds,plastic...

Re: Puddle lights and footwell lights fitted

So just for those that might be interested then have today fitted the cheaper older version of the welcome/puddle lights to my facelift Sept 2017 version Qashqai even though on most eBay adverts they say not suitable. So you can fit the cheaper £60 older version to newer cars, no problems on mechani...

Re: Puddle lights and footwell lights fitted

Hi Alan Thanks from what your saying then really if you do a simple bit of wiring for the final connection and a possible work around on the mechanical fitting side of things which I think is the case, then why pay the crazy £200 price for these alleged newer p/n versions of the undersill puddle led...

Re: Puddle lights and footwell lights fitted

Hi Alan as you have a 2020 then did you have 11 grommets on your undersill? Rather than the 10 the instructions suggest. Also did you not bother with the controller simply go red to red and black to black connecting to footwell light power supply.
