Best Dashcams
Alternatively if you have an android phone (or for all I know an iPhone) there's a free app available on the Google play store called Dailyroads Voyager which turns your windscreen mounted phone into a perfectly good dash cam. I use it and it's very good.

FAQ: Self Cleaning Rear View Camera
I have the Smart Vision pack (if that's what you're referring to) but it doesn't include any cameras! Fitted to the Acenta, it adds front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, traffic signal recognition, auto dipping headlights and auto dimming rear view mirror. It's part of the Motabili...

Non Heated Front Windscreen
Also, I've heard that using de-icer regularly doesn't do the wipers any good (or the rubbers round the windows, or the paintwork in the case of overspray). Now this may be rubbish, but just in case it's true, I keep de-icer in the car for use away from home, but whenever I leave the house in freezin...

Recall 2014 - Tow bar Forward Emergency Braking
My QQ is Acenta with Smart Vision pack - it has FEB functionality, but there is no camera inside the Nissan badge on the grille as there is on higher spec models. My conclusion is that FEB works from the camera behind the rear view mirror that provides the Traffic Signal Recognition. The sensors pho...

With the ignition on, a swift double tap upwards on the wiper stalk will put the wipers in "Park" (almost vertical) so the arms can be lifted clear of the windscreen without fouling on the rear edge of the bonnet - when washing the car, or changing wiper blades, for example. I have no idea...

I use cruise but in a manner similar to that described by Splank above. Using cruise to hold a set speed on anything other than a perfectly flat road results in the car being held back on downhill sections, and worked harder on uphill bits. I set the cruise to say 60mph, then on downhill I use the b...

Automatic wipers sensitivity
It's the first time I've ever had a car with rain sensing wipers, so needless to say I'm quite happy with it. Yes, I have to give the stalk a flick to wake it up sometimes, and occasionally I find it a bit slow to clear what i think should be enough rain so I give the sensitivity switch a nudge away...

Electric Car is Plug Ugly
To me it looks more like a squirrel with its cheeks full of nuts.
