Re: Keep or Change ??
Approaching 10000 miles on ours and it is 18 months old. No problems apart from 3 activation's of the auto braking system for no reason. Lovely to drive, looks great and good mpg. But I am uncomfortable with it having the problematic 1.2 petrol engine and the CVT as the mileage increases. The 1.3 DC...

Re: UK well placed to meet growing demand for Electric car batteries
Rare materials, expensive to buy and replace after a relatively short lifespan, difficult and expensive to recycle but don't worry we will just stockpile millions of them somewhere. Not environmentally friendly at all.

Re: Extended Warranty
Qashowner, That is good to see that you have done 35000 on your QQ CVT box. I would still like an extended warranty in 18 months time if I keep the car as the cost of replacement is very high. Having read reports especially from the USA and the fact that Nissan have discontinued the CVT in favour of...

Re: Extended Warranty
Qashowner, You say you have the CVT. What mileage are you at and have you had any problems with it?

Re: Independent Servicing
Dave, thanks I have found someone from your post who is only 1 mile away so I will use them in the future. Had I known in Dec last I could have saved £60+ instead of paying the Main Dealer £199.

Re: Emergency braking system fault
Thursday we were travelling slowly through a small village which had a lay-by on the nearside of the road. A passenger was getting into a car so I gave him a bit of space and moved slightly into the oncoming lane which was completely free of traffic and then moved back to the normal road position. A...

Re: Nissan to Cut Global Production
It was in the news that all car manufacturers are selling less vehicles so that would make sense to cut back.

Re: Emergency braking problem
There were no vehicles in front of me just two walkers on the pavement ahead on a right hand bend who must have caused the activation. Scary if the vehicles behind had not been alert because they would have thought there was no reason for me to brake at that point going into the bend. I have it on w...

Re: Emergency braking problem
Mine went off a few months ago. Wet road, bright sunlight and two people on pavement dead ahead on a right hand bend. Cars behind must have thought I was bonkers braking for no reason. Same road a few weeks ago but no rain or people and no warning. I have the recording of the incident from my front ...
