Re: First time poster, air con outside of warranty

Just heard back from the dealer about the air con and they found 3 leaks, one on the actual condenser and 2 on the inlet outlet joints. Just coming up to 3 years old.

Re: Electrical Gremlins

The dual function of the heaters is working correctly. It's so you can have different temperatures either side.

Re: First impressions, questions.

Lights - I left mine in AUTO - it was fine most of the time. I thought you can adjust sensitivity but can't find it in the manual.
There's a menu somewhere that says "earlier/later" and something for in the middle but I can't remember what it is.

Re: First impressions, questions.

Wipers: I leave mine in auto except in cold weather when parked. Switch to auto when screen is clear. They can throw the odd wobbler but by switching them to manual then back to auto sorts it out. Pretty sure the sat nav screen zoom is automatic and will zoom in and out depending on the speed you ar...

Re: Can't get into car.

It was down to 5 volts. Battery tested and was OK, no parasitic drains. Now on charge............... RAC man said he was expecting a battery failure but unfortunately it didn't. Still under warranty for another 2 months so hopefully it will fail soon. Waited over 3 hours for RAC though.

Can't get into car.

Currently waiting for Nissan Rescue............................Car won't unlock with remote or the actual key in the key hole. The indicators do flash but very very dim. So dim that you have to get up close to see them flash. Sounds like a dead battery(Fiamm) but no prior indication of degradation, ...
